| Immediately inside of the first set of plaza doors to the Kennedy Center, is the Hall of States, the main feature of which is a collection of flags from all 50 states, the 5 U.S. territories, and the District of Columbia. The flags are hung in the order in which their respective states entered the Union. They begin with Delaware, which is located in the right corner as you are facing the street entrance to the Hall. The Hall of States is also home to one of the Gift Shops, the information desk, the main Box Office, and the Family Theater. Both the Hall of States and Hall of Nations provide access to the Grand Foyer and elevators to the Terrace Level.
