About the Program
Academy Award(r) winner Tim Yip (Best Art Director for the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) adds décor and design to the Kennedy Center both inside and out during the festival. Inspired by traditional paper cutting and the auspicious nature of red in Chinese culture, the exhibition will include monumental banners covering the Center's façade on the Potomac, intricate lanterns hanging from the Grand Foyer chandeliers, and an elaborate cut-out adorning the Hall of States' and Hall of Nations' glass entryways.THIS EXHIBIT IS A FREE EVENT, NO TICKETS REQUIRED.
