  In Fancy That!, NSO violinist Marissa Regni plays a one-woman show about how to decorate music in the form of ornamentation and variations. This concert is perfect for even the youngest music lovers in your family. Ages 3–5.

  The Kennedy String Quartet brings back Making Music with Friends, its popular interactive program that explores the connections between the way we feel and the way music is made. Age 4+

• NSO Family Concert: The Trumpet of the Swan: A Novel Symphony

  Starring John Lithgow, the Kennedy Center commission based on E.B. White's classic, The Trumpet of the Swan, returns. Though Louis is a trumpeter swan, he was born without a voice. Will a brass trumpet bring freedom, fame, fortune, and love? Age 7+
