Women's Committee for the National Symphony Orchestra
Formed in 1941 as a committee of the NSOA, the Women's Committee has a membership of approximately 1,000 in six geographic chapters. The Women's Committee endowment provides funding for the Principal Oboe Chair, the sixth NSO subscription week, one NSO guest conductor week annually, and one NSO Young People's Concert annually.
