• American Ballet Theatre: Mixed Repertory and Othello

  Jan 9 - 14, 2007
  ABT performs two programs: Lubovitch's full-length Othello (Jan. 11-14); and a mixed program (Jan. 9 & 10) featuring La Bayadère Act II ("Kingdom of the Shades"), Dark Elegies, and Rodeo.

• Kirov Ballet: Romeo and Juliet

  For the Shakespeare in Washington festival, St. Petersburg's magnificent company dances the greatest love story of all time in the original Lavrovsky/Prokofiev production.

• Edward Scissorhands: Matthew Bourne and New Adventures

  Feb 13 - 18, 2007
  The Tony-winning director and choreographer's company performs a magical new dance adaptation of the classic Tim Burton motion picture.

• Bolshoi Ballet: Cinderella and Don Quixote

  Feb 21 - 25, 2007
  Moscow's great company performs two full-length works: the U.S. premiere of Yuri Possokhov's Cinderella (Feb. 21–23) and Don Quixote, Petipa's first ballet created for the Bolshoi (Feb. 24 & 25).

• New York City Ballet: Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream

  The company brings Balanchine's full-length ballet interpretation of the Bard's classic comedy, as part of the Shakespeare in Washington festival.
