Endowing the Performing Arts at the Kennedy Center
Kennedy Center Millennium Endowment
The
Kennedy Center is engaged in a major fund-raising campaign to maintain
its role as a leader in the performing arts and arts education. The Kennedy
Center Millennium Endowment Campaign devotes much of its $100-million
goal to education, the areas that will most effect the future
of performing arts as a new century unfolds.
Your planned gift counts toward the Kennedy Center Millennium Endowment Campaign. The importance of giving to the Kennedy Center has never been greater.
Donations to Endowment
Contributions to the Kennedy Center's endowment build the financial foundation
that provides long-term stability and security.
Donations of any amount to the Kennedy Center's endowment may be applied
to the full range of activities. For example, you may support the National
Symphony Orchestra (NSO) Endowed Chairs, American College Theater Festival,
National Conducting Institute or the American Ballet Presentation Fund
among many other programs at the Center. Many other NSO activities also
depend on gifts to the Kennedy Center's endowment.
Making A Deferred Gift to the Kennedy Center's Endowment
Since its earliest days, the Kennedy Center has depended on "lasting
gifts" to help fund the Center's diverse and popular year-round
performances and programs. Bequests and planned gifts from Kennedy Center
friends are the single greatest source of funding securing the Center's
future. Regardless of how you choose to designate your gift, including
the Kennedy Center in your estate plans will allow you to play a vital
and permanent role in the future of the Kennedy Center. Please consider
supporting the Kennedy Center 's future through a provision in your estate
plans and kindly let us know if you have already done so.
